Why we do what we do.
Having owned a mixed animal rural practice and now a specialty large animal practice, we know how difficult it is to find help, advice and resources. We've been through the fire of trying to find skilled mixed animal practitioners, managing the wide array of inventory related to seeing pets and farm animals and managing staffing and schedules of the chaos that farm animal service can bring. We searched for help but didn't fit into any traditional consulting boxes. Only 3% of practices in the U.S. are mixed (LARGE??) and if you are one of them, you know the pain. We want to share what we have learned, to provide help to those who are feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or in need of a set of fresh eyes.
About Us
After practicing in Virginia in a food animal practice, we purchased a rural Pennsylvania mixed animal veterinary hospital in 2011. Our goal was to serve our local community through improving efficiencies in food animals, helping and educating those with hobby farms and providing quality affordable care to pets. As our practice grew and Dusty specialized in advanced reproduction we decided to sell our general practice and start Dynamic Concept Services providing consulting services to large, mixed and rural veterinary practices along with advanced reproductive procedures to livestock.
Dr. Dusty Davis grew up in Georgia and completed his undergraduate degree at UGA and then graduated from UGA College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Catherine grew up in southwestern Pennsylvania and graduated from Penn State with a degree in Animal Science.
